Kevin Delgado-Valentin, originally from Deltona, Florida, graduated in 2021 with a Master of Arts in higher education. He will complete the Ed.S. in higher education program this spring. Recently, he accepted the position of Director of Employment in App State’s Office of Human Resources.
In this position, he will provide leadership and vision for the employment team, leading the efforts for talent acquisition, staff recruitment, application management, onboarding, and serving as consulting partner to the campus community.
“The aim of the employment team in human resources is to serve as strategic partners that are integral to the growth and evolution of the institution by intentionally seeking out talented and dynamic professionals to carry out the mission and vision of Appalachian State University,” stated Delgado-Valentin.
Impacting Education in His Community
Delgado-Valentin is making an impact on education in his community.
