In January, Alex Edmisten ’03, second from right, visited Appalachian State University to deliver a check for $36,000 from the NC Scottish Rite Masonic Foundation that will support App State’s Anderson Reading Clinic and Charles and Geneva Scott Scottish Rite Communication Disorders Clinic. In April, Edmisten returned to the university to deliver a check for $22,000 from the Hillery H. Rink Jr. Fund, also in support of the two clinics.
