With the help of Admissions, the Reich College of Education (RCOE) offers campus visits for students interested in majoring in education: First Thursdays!
About First Thursdays
First Thursdays are specialized campus visits for students interested in majoring in education. These will be led by Megan Kasper, Assistant Director for Student Involvement & Success, and Octavia Little, Associate Director of Admissions for Teacher Education Recruitment, in RCOE's James Center for Appalachian Educators.
Participating students take a full campus tour (10:00 am - 12:00 pm), and then visit the RCOE at 12:00 pm for a closer look at the college:
Discover how Appalachian is FIRST for teaching
Learn about teacher education programs and opportunities unique to education majors
Visit with current students
Attend a mock lesson by a faculty member
Receive a tour of our beautiful building
Dates & Registration
Three dates are available for spring 2018:
Campus tours are scheduled for 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. First Thursdays visits begin at 12:00 pm. Learn more and register now!
