A favorite memory of mine was being part of the Academy at Middle Fork’s Literacy Cast over the summer! I remember there being such great energy and conversation surrounding reading and making books.
Share the names of your favorite professors or other mentors you'd like to thank (and why).
Two of my favorite professors in Reading Education are Dr. Beth Buchholz and Dr. Beth Frye. I would leave their classes every time feeling so inspired and having a great outlook on teaching literature. I hope to create a classroom environment that is as welcoming and comfortable as theirs!
In a nutshell, what has App State meant to you?
App State has meant learning from the most amazing professors. I have loved every second of the Reading Education program because of the creative assignments, inspiring content, and support from professors.
