Tell us about your collegiate activities, your clubs and organizations, or your favorite memories.
I was a Resident Assistant on campus for two years and graduated with my first degree in May (Graphic Design). I've spent 95% of my time in college in Wey Hall making lifelong friends between both the Art Education and Graphic Design programs. I found my home here in the mountains making and teaching art.
Share the names of your favorite professors or other mentors you'd like to thank (and why).
I'd love to thank Professor Anna Buckner for always being a positive support as I work on creating art I'm proud of. I'd also like to thank my Clinical Educator, Genal West, and my supervisor Mr. Townsend for helping me succeed during student teaching.
In a nutshell, what has App State meant to you?
App State is the place that fostered so many relationships, memories, and experiences that I will never forget. It's all about the people but these mountains are home!
