The best thing that Appalachian brought me was the lifelong friendships! I gained so many friends both in undergrad and grad school. App State even gave me four of my bridesmaids!

Beth Frye, Beth Buchholz, & Ashley Pennell - All three of these remarkable women always offer up unlimited care and kindness. There is a sense of realness they emit - they truly understand how life is and they don’t punish us for it. They honestly care about what goes on in our lives, and they teach so spectacularly! I’ve gained so much wisdom and knowledge from these ladies!!
In a nutshell, what has App State meant to you?
App State has been the best five years. I love the curriculum, the atmosphere, and the engagement. I’m so proud to be a Mountaineer!
