I am working my way through the Accelerated Admissions program and have participated in Kappa Delta Pi. I was part of the distance ed cohort model and wouldn't change that for the world! I have grown so close to my cohort!
Share the names of your favorite professors or other mentors you'd like to thank (and why).
We had SO many great professors/instructors! Some that stick out to me are Stephanie Moretz, Ashley Pennell, Kelley Wilson, Lisa Gross, Eric Groce, Karl Campbell, Debbie Crocker, and Lisa Poling. Although most were great, these names stick out to me because of the way they challenged me in some way. Some challenged me academically, some professionally and some inspired me to see teaching differently altogether. These professors/instructors reminded me why I decided to pursue a degree in education! Some even inspired me to apply for the Accelerated Admission program and pursue my MA in Reading Education!
In a nutshell, what has App State meant to you?
I can't say enough great things about App! In fact, I haven't stopped raving about the university to my friends and coworkers. I truly don't think I could have chosen a better program and attribute all of my success to the wonderful staff who clearly care about their students!
