Laura Mallard, my academic advisor and one of my previous professors, has been with me through my collegiate journey every step of the way. Her encouragement, check-ins, and support throughout my time at Appalachian State have made it a worthwhile connection! Her excitement to see her advisees grow is evident in her demeanor and enthusiasm to see us excel inside our classrooms. Mallard is truly a gem!
In a nutshell, what has App State meant to you?
App State is where I came to grow and become a more well-rounded human. It gave me the space to challenge myself and get through the early stages of 'adulting'. App State allowed me to grow confident in myself and blessed me with friendships that have withstood years. I'm thankful for the home App State provided me for my undergraduate career!
