The Reich College of Education's (RCOE) International Global Engagement Committee is hosting an International Global Engagement Fair on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm in the RCOE building. The event is open to all who are interested in sharing their global and/or international work or those who would like to learn more about global opportunities at Appalachian State University.
The event has two components:
- Information fair
- Small group discussions
Information Fair
The information fair is designed for participants to share their global and/or international work, and for visitors to learn about this work and/or campus opportunities.

Time: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm*
Location: RCOE Rotunda
Already registered to participate are:
- AIESEC: an international, not-for-profit, non-political organization run by students at institutions of higher education that offers an integrated development experience comprised of leadership opportunities, international internships & volunteer experiences, and a global learning environment.
- Office of International Education and Development (OIED): sharing information on education abroad opportunities, international students and scholars and more.
Light refreshments will be served.
*You do not need to be present the entire time. You can leave materials for interested persons to pick up.
Small Group Discussions
The small group discussions are designed for participants to talk with other interested faculty, staff and students about topics related to global and/or international work. Past topics have included:
- Globalizing your course
- Study abroad opportunities
- How to connect internationally through our partners
- Global Learning Opportunity (GLO) designations
- And more!
