The Reich College of Education (RCOE) presents “An Evening with North Carolina’s Teacher of the Year” professional development opportunity.

The event will feature Kimberly Jones Norris, the 2023 Burroughs Wellcome Fund North Carolina Teacher of the Year.
Jones Norris, who is an English teacher at Chapel Hill High School, will focus her presentation on an inspirational message for both current and future educators.
The programming will begin at 6:30 pm, and light refreshments will be served afterward. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) will be offered for current educators, and professional development credits will be offered for current students.
This professional development opportunity is also being sponsored by App State’s Public School Partnership, RCOE’s James Center for Student Success and Advising, and Appalachian Educators Club.
