The Reich College of Education is seeking applicants for a summer 2019 Fulbright-Hays Group Projects Abroad Seminar.
This prestigious Fulbright program, funded by the U.S. Department of Education, allows participants to study the history, culture, and arts of Indonesia, to develop curriculum and media for their classrooms and to share with other educators.
Who:
- Appalachian full-time graduate students and upper-level undergraduate education majors
- Appalachian full-time faculty
- Regional K-12 teachers
Priority fields include History, Social Studies, Media, Elementary K-6, and the arts (Music, Art, and Theatre Education).
When:
- A 4-week seminar program in Indonesia in July 2019, with required meetings and activities before and after travel.
Cost:
- Fulbright-Hays covers the cost of all international travel, accommodation, activities, and meals, plus a stipend to purchase materials for your classroom.
- Participants each pay an estimated $1,100 in fees.
