Lexi Snoke ’21, a graduate student in the Reich College of Education's Student Affairs Administration program, has been selected as an Association of Fraternal Leadership & Values (AFLV) Central Intern.
AFLV Central includes the National Black Greek Leadership Conference (NBGLC) and is the largest, most diverse gathering of fraternal stakeholders in the country. Each year, more than 3,000 participants from more than 200 campuses come together for an experience with programming at all levels of the fraternity/sorority experience. AFLV Central 2022 was held February 3-6, 2022, in Indianapolis, Indiana.
“I am incredibly honored to have been chosen for this competitive internship,” said Snoke.
“I am also excited to give back to the conference and create a best-in-class experience for students by promoting dynamic and diverse programs for students and creating an overall inclusive experience,” she added.

Snoke applied for the AFLV Central internship to gain more experience in the programming and planning elements within Fraternity and Sorority Life. She currently serves as a graduate assistant with Appalachian State University’s Fraternity and Sorority Life, where she advises students on effective programming and creates programming for leadership retreats.
“By serving in the role of AFLV Graduate Intern, I am hopeful that I will be able to gain new knowledge in aspects of Fraternity and Sorority Life programming to bring back to my students,” said Snoke.
For Snoke, attending the 2020 AFLV conference as an undergraduate student impacted her greatly. “It helped make my decision to pursue the field of Student Affairs Administration.”
“I have a great passion for the world of Fraternity and Sorority Life, and I am committed to being a changemaker and educator for future students,” she added.
Snoke graduated from App State with a Bachelor of Science degree in communications, public relations in May 2021. She is expected to graduate with her Master of Arts in May 2022.
