Tiffany Rush, Top Recipient for the John Barry CPA Fall Scholarship Competition

Freshman biology secondary education major Tiffany Rush was the top recipient for the John Barry CPA fall scholarship competition. Appalachian State University students Adam Greer and Hayley Behrn won second and third place respectively. The competition required students to submit an essay on what they hope to achieve with their degree, as well as what they most enjoy studying at Appalachian.

In her essay, Tiffany stated, “There is no better place for me to fulfill my dream than Appalachian State University, which was founded as a teaching college. I hope to instill a hunger and passion for learning into my students, because that is what great teachers do.”
