At the Reich College of Education (RCOE), we believe that education changes lives—and donors like you make that transformation possible. Your generosity helps us prepare exceptional educators, support meaningful service and professional growth, and strengthen the communities we serve. Together, we make RCOE first for teaching.
Why Give
Your support fuels opportunity and innovation at every level—from student scholarships to global experiences. Every gift, no matter the size, helps us prepare educators who will make a lasting impact.
Scholarships
Each year, the RCOE awards more than $800,000 in scholarships to over 270 students across undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs. These scholarships open doors to higher education and future teaching excellence.
The college celebrates donors and recipients annually at the RCOE Scholarship Reception—a tradition that connects our community of support.

Program Support
Your gifts sustain signature programs that serve both campus and community. One example is the Appalachian Community of Education Scholars (ACES) program, a four-year scholar community that supports future teachers through mentoring, leadership, service, and professional development.
By supporting programs like ACES, you help prepare the next generation of educators to lead with purpose and compassion.
Supporting Student, Faculty, Staff, and Alumni Success
The RCOE community extends beyond campus, connecting educators and leaders regionally, nationally, and globally. Gifts to support student and faculty travel, research collaborations, and professional development help create lifelong learning networks that enrich teaching and scholarship.
Dean’s Fund
The Dean’s Fund provides flexible, unrestricted support for the college’s most pressing priorities—from advancing strategic initiatives to fostering faculty and staff excellence. Your contributions allow the college to respond quickly to emerging needs and new opportunities.

Supporting Student Wellbeing and Quality of Life
Launched in 2019 by the RCOE Advancement Board, the Feed Yosef initiative helps address food insecurity among students. Your donations provide meal cards and stock the Grant Dean Food Pantry, ensuring students can focus on learning—not hunger.
