Dr. Kimberly W. Money is an associate professor in school administration in the Reich College of Education at Appalachian State University. Prior to joining the faculty at Appalachian, she served as a teacher, principal, and district administrator for twenty years in North Carolina Public Schools.

Her research focuses on principal preparation, leadership practices for culturally and linguistically diverse students, women in leadership, and principal resiliency.

She received a doctorate in educational leadership and administration from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She holds an Educational Specialist in educational leadership and a Master of Education in curriculum and instruction with concentrations in curriculum supervision and English as a second language, also from UNCG. She received her Bachelor of Arts in music education and Spanish from Greensboro College.
