Melissa Mott

Melissa Mott joined the Reich College of Education as the LSA Project Manager in 2023. Her responsibilities include managing and facilitating the Wallace Foundation and Principal Fellows grants for the Master of School Administration (MSA) program. 

Before joining the App State staff, Mott worked with Watauga County Schools. She has also worked in administration and project management for an international 501(c)(3). 

Melissa graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a B.A. in history.

Outside work, Mott enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, camping, kayaking, cooking, and sewing. She also loves traveling abroad.
