Micah Riggins earned her Bachelor of Science in child development-family and child studies from Appalachian State University, where her passion for the world of education formed. Post-graduation, Micah spent a couple of years in the classroom teaching children aged from infancy to five years of age before returning to the Reich College of Education, this time as a staff member supporting the Office of the Dean and the college as an Administrative Support Specialist and lead receptionist. In Micah’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, being outdoors, going on walks, while also being a homebody and finding a cozy show to watch.
