Dr. Monica Lambert is Associate Dean for Educator Preparation and Student Affairs in Appalachian State University’s Reich College of Education. She joined the faculty in 2001 as a member of the special education program and has since served in several leadership capacities, including program director and department chair.

She has served on the Board and Executive Board of the North Carolina Association of Colleges for Teacher Education for ten years in various capacities. At the national level, she served as President of the Council for Learning Disabilities. She currently serves as a reviewer for the Council for the Accreditation of  Educator Preparation (CAEP).
