Dr. Robin Moeller is a former high school librarian and received her Ph.D. in curriculum studies from Indiana University, Bloomington. Her research interests lie in visual representations of information, as they apply to youth and schooling, as well as issues of intellectual freedom.
She has published in many top-tier journals such as The Library Quarterly and The Journal of Librarianship and Information Science and has presented at international conferences such as the International Board on Books for Young People (IBBY) and the International Research Society for Children’s Literature (IRSCL) and elsewhere.
Dr. Moeller is a member of the American Library Association, Association of Library Services for Children, Young Adult Library Services Association, and North Carolina School Library Media Association.
